No rest for the weary!
Hermia shakes down Demetrius
Nailed it, Snug!
Keep it down Nym! The French are trying to sleep!
Not sure how he missed the kingly garb underneath that hoodie.
Seems borderline unhealthy. At what point do we intervene?!

Alyx Vaughn is some sort of goblin or something. We don't really know. She's mischievous but well-meaning, has a near-worshipful love of swords and shiny rocks, and she bites to show affection. That's not even mentioning the weird howls and squeaks she blames on "tourettes". We've been keeping her on a leash for the last two years, ever since our production of "The Merry Wives of Windsor" when we cast her as Anne Page and Pistol, and later realized she's pretty handy with a weapon when she played Posthumus Leonatus in "Cymbeline". Like... Kinda scary, actually. But we needed a fight choreographer, and we were frankly unsure what she'd do if we didn't give her an outlet, so we kept casting her. Banquo in "Macbeth", Hero in "Much Ado", and Mercutio in "Romeo and Juliet", have been some of her favorite roles, and she's never even bitten an audience member! Please do keep your fingers away from her teeth, though. Just in case. They're weirdly sharp.
J. Attridge is an "actor," and last we checked, they are non venomous. You may recognize them from prior roles in the Grassroots Shakespeare Company like gay demon (Mephistopheles in Doctor Faustus 2022), gay bestie (Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet 2023), and blue-raspberry misogynist (Petruchio in Drag Taming of the Shrew 2023). If you're reading this, you have now been hypnotized to come see A Midsummer Night's Dream and Henry V. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Claire Stucki is always delighted to be back on the Grassroots stage, where she has been around and done this and that (most recently, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth). She likes buying pens, knitting, and photosynthesizing. She dislikes leeks.
Seven Harrison is excited to once again grace the Grassroots stage! You may remember him as Sebastian from Twelfth Night (2020), Romeo from Romeo and Juliet(Educational tour 2022) and Doctor Caius from the other show (2022). He has always wanted to do summer tour with the company since the beginning and is thrilled to do it with the multitude of miraculous, magnificent actors.
Kat Webb has been "Orbed". Which is the Grassroots term for when an actor doesn't write a bio and is forced to consult the ORB that scans their being and writes a bio for them. KAT WEBB HAS 207 BONES. 1 OF THEM DOES NOT BELONG TO HER. MAY YOU FEAR AND RESPECT HER. OR YOU WILL FIND YOU HAVE NO BONES.
Katherine Moulton is so excited to hit her one year Grassrootsversary with this summer tour. She's been letting this group of nerds take over her life for the last twelve months with The Tempest, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet. Katherine is especially thrilled to get to perform her very favorite Shakespeare monologue ever, justifying her dad raising her on questionably-child-appropriate media.
Max Rhineer (rye-near) is terrified to make their Grassroots debut but is willing to give it the ol’ college try! They have a running list of 13 bits to include in this bio but decided on this one: Their most prominent roles thus far have been Mr. Voldy the Dark Lord, Dracula the Vampire, Frankenstein the Monster, Mike the Zombie, Steve the deadbeat Dad, and Beast the Beast. For the summer tour, Max is ecstatic to be able to add some non-villainous characters to that list such as ⃰ checks notes ⃰ the unnamed French Messenger!
Alyssa is full to bursting with excitement about this summer tour, as this will be her third in a row. You might remember her from the last two tours as Cloten in Cymbeline and Ariel in Tempest. Henry V and Midsummer Night's Dream hold very special places in her heart, as Midsummer's was her very first Shakespeare play over ten years ago. You might have also seen her recently in the Grassroots Educational Tour, as well as Tybalt/Friar in Romeo and Juliet, and Macduff in Macbeth. Besides performing Alyssa is also into... um. Bugs. And pretending to be a lizard.
Much like Bottom the Weaver, Steven Pond wants to play every role. And by golly he's almost got it. Having started with Grassroots back in 2012 he's now been a monster (Caliban), a prince (Hal), a clown (Touchstone), a king (Macbeth), a steward (Malvolio), a Roman (Julius Caesar), and finally typecast as an ass. Hardly even have to act for this one! When he's not eating, drinking, and breathing Shakespeare, Steve can be found obsessively researching Brandon Sanderson for his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@TheCosmerenaut), building up his fledgeling Voice Over business (https://stevenpondvoice.wixsite.com/welcome), or playing with his wife and two boys (one of whom had his own Shakespearean debut the last time we did Henry V!) Please pardon his welsh accent for not actually being a welsh accent. They're hard.
